I grew up watching the soft fibre called “cashmere” being weaved and transformed into these beautiful products which I found very fascinating.
Our mission is to provide customers with an ethical and affordable option for buying high quality cashmere and wool products. To this end , our products are ethically made in Nepal by talented, predominantly women artisans who handweave the wool and whose livelihood are supported by each purchase.
As we grow, our production operations also creates more employment opportunities for other people in the community .
At Caprus, we believe cashmere is the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. Cashmere is one of the most sought-after fibres in the world with the material being softer, lighter, and can be up to three times more insulating than traditional wools
To reduce our environmental footprint our factory is powered by our array of solar panels and our colouring process involves using natural dyes and primarily recycled water from our rain harvesting system.
We take these steps to make sure the customer get the highest quality Product and can feel good about their purchase knowing they have supported responsible and slow fashion.
