Cashmere & Wool

Is your cashmere 100% pure cashmere?

Yes. Our cashmere wraps and shawls are crafted from 100% pure cashmere fibres.

Why is Caprus more affordable than many luxury boutiques?

Caprus works directly with our family-owned workshop in Nepal, allowing us to offer exceptional quality without the traditional retail markups.

What’s the difference between cashmere and wool?

Cashmere is lighter, softer and provides exceptional warmth for its weight. Wool offers durability and structure while remaining naturally breathable and comfortable.

Care

How do I wash cashmere?

Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool-safe detergent. Reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat.

Will cashmere pill?

Natural cashmere fibres may develop light pilling with wear. This is normal and can be easily removed using a cashmere comb.

How should I store my wrap or scarf?

Store folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging for long periods to help maintain shape.

Ethical Production & Sustainability

Where are Caprus products made?

Our pieces are crafted in Nepal by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques.

Are your products ethically made?

Yes. We work directly with our family workshop and support fair employment opportunities, particularly for women artisans.

What sustainability practices do you follow?

Our workshop uses solar power, natural dyes and rainwater harvesting systems to reduce environmental impact.
